As a general contractor and business owner, quality sub contractors are essential to the success of my projects. Anthony has been a key player in almost all of my jobs. During a very cold, snowy day, the baseboard heat in my living room was not working. Pisapia Electric showed up extremely quick, considering the inclement weather, diagnosed the problem and got my heat working again. I was very pleased with his promptness and reasonable service charge.

After a recent fire in my home it was necessary to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. Pisapia Electric furnished and installed new wiring to both rooms, replacing all the wiring, plugs, switches, light fixtures and wiring all of my new appliances in the kitchen. His estimate was very detailed and concise making me feel very comfortable that I knew exactly what I would be paying for. When I had questions I was shocked that he had actually given me his cell phone number and I didn’t have to wait for a call back.  I would highly recommend him.

Pisapia Electric installed new lights on the front of my store and installed track lighting in the back of the store. Anthony and his crew were very flexible on the time of the job because I did not want the work done when I’d be having customers going in and out. His prices were very fair and the detail in his invoice was great – I knew exactly what he installed. I was also thrilled that I received the invoice through email and was able to make my payment right through a link on the invoice.

When my sump pump stopped working Pisapia Electric sent over one of their electricians who quickly replaced the pump and saved me from having a flooded basement.

That by making a few minor changes in your lifestyle you can decrease your energy costs and diminish your negative impact on the planet? Following are a few simple changes that will save you money:

1. Install dimmers on your lights to reduce the amount of electricity that is used.

2. Install a programmable thermostat so that you don't have to remember to turn down the heat/air conditioning when you go to work or go to bed at night.

3. Install a ceiling fan which will save you money and energy year round. In the summer it will provide you with a cooling breeze and in the winter it will pull the warm air down from the ceiling to the area that you are in. Remember that a ceiling fan only needs to be run while you’re in the room and is much less expensive to run than an air conditioner.

4. Replace your light bulbs with Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (CFLs) that have the ENERGY STAR® label. Not only do they last longer (therefore, you get more for your money) but they use up to 75% less electricity than a traditional bulb.
